If you Find your trailer Bumping up and
Down when you hit a Pot Hole or bump in the Road you may want to
consider purchasing Torsion Bars
Torsion Bars can be used to distribute the weight of the unit over
the entire tow vehicle. This improves towing and handling!
To Minimize Your Trailer from Wandering Back and Forth:
Sway Bars can be used to minimize the amount that the trailer
wanders back and forth behind your vehicle, if you find that your
trailer is swaying too much for your liking you may want to consider
purchasing a sway bar.
*Please Note the Following if you are Purchasing a Trailer over
12FT long
*Please Note that if you choose to get a 12FT Tent Trailer or a
Larger Travel Trailer, Hybrid, Fifth Wheel, etc. you will be
required to have a brake control installed on your vehicle to
operate the electric brakes on the trailer.
The cost is approx. $150-$200 installed (Cost of Brake Control
itself is approx. $100, the rest of the cost is installation) and
can be installed by almost all garages.
The Brake Control itself can be purchased either here or elsewhere
however, before purchasing make sure that it DOES NOT HAVE a delay
before the brakes are applied (ie: The Cheaper ones we have in stock
have a 3 second delay) because depending on the speed that you are
traveling, any delay could cause you to travel a lot further before
your brakes are finally applied and this inhibits you from being
able to stop in a hurry if need be!
